Nithin Krishna, MD

Dr. Krishna is a seasoned physician researcher in the field of neuroscience, with extensive publications and original scientific findings.

Dr. Krishna is a Board-certified psychiatrist, he is also a healthcare entrepreneur, he served as CEO/CMO of a large mental health platform in Maryland and was responsible for managing clinical operations, executive leadership and expansion. Dr. Krishna also oversaw medical compliance to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of medical care. Dr. Krishna was also involved in recruiting, mentoring physicians, physician assistants, therapists & nurse practitioners.

In conjunction to these Dr. Krishna was also the Founder of BloominMind HealthTech Inc, a health IT company with a focus on building product solutions and services for behavioral health patients.

His research focuses in the areas of chronic psychiatric diseases, psychotic spectrum disorders, suicide and cognition.

Harpreet has over five years of nursing experience, including roles at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center, Western New York Children’s Psychiatric Center, and other facilities. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from SUNY Brockport and her Masters of Science in Nursing from D’Youville University.

Katie Rauber is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner:

Katie Rauber have over 10 years of experience. She previously worked as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in a primary care office, which has given her a unique perspective on the relationship between mental health and physical health. She received her degree from the University of Pennsylvania and is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She can provide medication management for adults age 18 and over.

Pamela Cooper MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC:

Pamela have over 19 years of experience as a nurse and worked with many organizations in the Rochester region including Catholic Charities family-community services and Rochester Psychiatric Center. Pamela has wide gamut of experience in screening, diagnosing, and providing care for people facing mental health and substance use disorders using evidenced based assessment tools. Pamela got her advanced certifications from Stoney Brook University, Roberts Wesleyan College and Monroe Community college.

Elise is a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with graduate and undergraduate training from University at Rochester. She has over a decade of psychiatric nursing experience in emergency psychiatry, inpatient hospitalizations, outpatient community clinics, and incarcerated settings. She also enjoys teaching nursing students at local colleges and universities, and currently teaches nursing students at St. John Fisher University.

At Penfield Psychiatry, Elise will offer psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication treatment to patients ages 18 years and older, with a focus on anxiety, trauma, stress/adjustment, depression, and other mood disorders. Elise will work with you to create realistic treatment goals and a practical, evidence-based way of reaching those goals. Depending on the case, she may incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), mindfulness, and possible alternative therapies (known as complementary and integrative treatments, or CAMT) into medication management sessions. She very much appreciates collaborative approaches and will coordinate as clinically indicated with other providers.

Dan is a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. He is a Rochester native and 20 year
military veteran. Dan completed both undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees from St John
Fisher College with a specialty in psychiatry. His clinical interests include mood disorders,
anxiety disorders and ADHD, however, he has experience working with a wide variety of
psychiatric disorders in multiple settings since 2014. Dan’s clinical experience includes chemical
dependency inpatient, outpatient chemical dependency with medication assisted therapy, acute
inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric emergency department, outpatient mental health clinic and
partial hospitalization. In addition to working at Penfield Psychiatry Dan works full time for the
