Alexis Combs

Dr. Combs, a clinical/school psychologist, specializes in comprehensive assessment and treatment of neurodevelopmental, mood, eating, and personality disorders. She is part of the neuropsychological services team at Penfield Psychiatry, using a strengths-based, person-centered approach.

Dr. Combs graduated with her dual doctoral degree in clinical/school psychology from Roberts Wesleyan University. She has experience working in a variety of settings, including education, community-based mental health clinics, private practice and partial hospitalization programs. She is proficient in a wide variety of assessment batteries and treatment modalities for a variety of presenting problems, including neurodevelopmental disorders (i.e, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism, learning disabilities), mood disorders (i.e depression, anxiety, and bipolar), eating disorders (i.e anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder), personality disorders (i.e borderline, narcissistic, schizoid, avoidant). Dr. Combs is apart of the neuropsychological services team at Penfield Psychiatry, where she uses a collaborative, person-centered, strengths-based approach to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for clients.
