Samantha Donatello, LMSW, is dedicated to supporting adolescents and young adults as they navigate the complexities of this developmental stage. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY, and has experience working in both acute and outpatient settings. She understands the unique challenges and pressures young people face today, and is passionate about creating a safe and empowering space for exploration and growth. Samantha's approach is client-centered and strengths-based, utilizing evidence-based practices. She incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge negative thought patterns, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build emotional regulation skills, such as distress tolerance techniques for managing intense emotions, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to foster acceptance and values-based living. Samantha is also committed to providing trauma-informed care, recognizing the impact of past experiences on present well-being. She works with individuals facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, self-esteem concerns, navigating big changes like college or first jobs, and trauma.
